Our Story
N8 Aquatics was founded from a lifetime passion for aquarium fishkeeping, breeding, and education. What began as Nates personal hobby quickly developed into a small but dedicated breeding operation in his family home in Rockhampton, Queensland.
From there Nate started focusing on producing healthy, high-quality fish for aquarium hobbyists in the Central Queensland Area.
Our goal is simple: provide strong, healthy fish raised in clean and well-maintained environments while sharing knowledge that helps hobbyists succeed in the aquarium hobby.
Our Philosophy
At N8 Aquatics we believe responsible fishkeeping starts with proper husbandry, careful breeding, and transparency with customers. Each fish we produce is raised with attention to water quality, nutrition, and stress reduction to ensure strong and healthy livestock.
We prioritise quality over quantity and aim to supply fish that hobbyists can confidently introduce into their aquariums.
Our Breeding Focus
N8 Aquatics focuses on selectively breeding a range of freshwater species, including nano fish, rainbowfish, cichlids, and other aquarium favourites.

Unlike large commercial importers, N8 Aquatics operates as a small-scale hobbyist breeder. This allows us to maintain close control over water conditions, feeding routines, and overall fish health.
