3-Spot Gourami - A Hardy Classic With Timeless Markings

The 3-Spot Gourami gets its name from the classic three-spot pattern, two body spots plus the eye, that has made this species one of the most familiar gourami in the hobby. It's a graceful, labyrinth-breathing fish that glides slowly through the water column with its long, feeler-like ventral fins trailing behind.

A genuinely easy-going and adaptable fish, the 3-Spot Gourami tolerates a broad range of established water conditions and is well suited to most community setups. Males can be territorial toward one another, so it's best kept as a single male per tank or in a well-planted aquarium offering visual breaks.
