Amazon Sword (Emersed)
Amazon Swords are one of the most popular and beginner-friendly aquarium plants, loved for their broad, lush foliage, hardy nature, and impressive growth in planted aquariums. Their vibrant green leaves make them an excellent centrepiece or background plant for community tanks, aquascapes, and natural planted displays.
As a hardy and adaptable sword plant, Amazon Swords thrive in a wide range of aquarium conditions and are suitable for both beginners and experienced aquascapers. This emersed-grown specimen develops strong root systems and transitions well into aquarium conditions with proper care.

Emersed vs Submersed — Which Grown Form Should You Choose?
Submersed plants are grown fully underwater and are already adapted to aquarium life, so they settle into a planted tank with minimal melt — the best pick for aquascapes and established aquariums.
Emersed plants are nursery-grown above the waterline, ideal for terrariums, paludariums and wabi-kusa. Submerged in an aquarium they typically melt back and regrow as submersed foliage — more so in low-tech tanks without added CO2 — but recover well with good lighting and nutrients.
