Our Assorted Danios bring together a mix of danio colour varieties in one energetic, ever-moving school, giving your tank a lively spread of patterns and tones without having to source each variety individually. Every group looks a little different, so no two tanks end up quite the same.

Whatever the colour combination, the temperament stays consistent: fast, confident and constantly active, darting through open water in tight formation. This hardy, adaptable nature makes assorted danios an easy, low-maintenance way to add movement and colour variety to a community tank.

At N8 Aquatics, our fish are carefully raised and conditioned to ensure healthy stock suited to home aquariums.

Ideal Habitat and Care

Provide a tank of at least 60 L minimum with plenty of cover and open swimming space, matching the temperament and schooling needs described above.

Diet

An eager, unfussy eater that will take most foods offered at the surface and mid-water.

• Micro pellet for variety
• Occasional frozen or live foods such as daphnia or brine shrimp
• Feed only what can be eaten within a couple of minutes

Compatibility

A fast, active schooler that makes an excellent dither fish for a community tank.

Suitable tankmates include:

• Other danios
• Tetras and rasboras
• Corydoras
• Loaches

Avoid aggressive or fin-nipping species.
