The Assorted Half Moon Male Betta is prized for its tail, which opens to a full 180-degree spread that forms a perfect half-circle when flared, sold here in a mixed colour run so every fish brings a different combination to the display.

That dramatic tail spread makes the half moon one of the most visually impressive betta finnage types, though it also means the fins are broader and slightly more prone to tearing on rough decor than shorter-finned strains. As with all male bettas, it is confidently territorial and must be kept alone.
