The Black Samurai Plakat Betta carries a deep, armoured black dragon-scale patterning across its short-finned plakat body, giving it a dark, imposing look that lives up to its name.

This strain combines its bold colouration with the compact, agile build typical of plakat bettas, making it a hardier and more resilient fish than long-finned show strains. It is confidently territorial like any male betta and should be housed alone to avoid conflict.
