Black Widow Tetra - Dramatic Black Skirt Fins That Soften With Age

The Black Widow Tetra, also known as the Black Skirt Tetra, is known for its deep black-grey flowing skirt-like fins that trail behind the body and gradually fade to a softer grey as the fish matures.

Slightly more boisterous than the average tetra, it does best in a larger group where any nippy behaviour is spread harmlessly within the school rather than directed at slower, long-finned tankmates.
