Cryptocoryne Willisii — Compact Grass-Like Foreground Crypt

Cryptocoryne Willisii is a compact, narrow-leaved crypt that stays low and neat, making it one of the most popular foreground crypts for smaller tanks and nano setups. Its fine, grass-like green leaves give a soft, natural look to the front of the aquascape.

Ideal Habitat and Care

Thrives in low-tech tanks without CO2. Expect some "crypt melt" after transplanting into a new tank — this is normal and new growth will return within a few weeks.

Propagation & Trimming

Spreads via runners from the rhizome to slowly fill out the foreground. Separate plantlets once rooted.
