Diamond Tetra - Glittering Iridescence for the Community Aquarium
The Diamond Tetra earns its name from a body covered in fine, iridescent scales that catch the light like scattered gemstones with every turn. Under good lighting a school of these fish produces a shimmering, almost metallic glow that few other tetras can match.
Beyond its good looks, this is a calm, easy-going schooler that spends most of its time cruising the mid-water levels of the tank in a loose, relaxed group. It adapts well to typical Australian tap water parameters and settles quickly once acclimated, making it a reliable choice for a mixed tetra community.
At N8 Aquatics, our fish are carefully raised and conditioned to ensure healthy stock suited to home aquariums.
