Flame Tetra - Fiery Colour and Effortless Schooling

The Flame Tetra is named for its warm orange-red body that intensifies to a deep fiery red toward the tail, giving a school of them a glowing, sunset-like effect as they move through the tank. It's a compact, hardy little tetra that punches well above its size for colour.

Naturally calm and unfussy, this species settles in quickly and rarely shows any of the nippiness sometimes associated with other tetras. Kept in a proper school it displays confidently in open mid-water, making it a great choice for planted community tanks looking for a splash of warm colour.
