Platinum Ram Cichlid - Striking Silver-White Ram for the Community Aquarium

The Platinum Ram Cichlid is a captive-bred colour strain prized for its clean, pearly-white to silver body, a striking departure from the blue-and-gold pattern of the wild German Blue Ram. Like other domestic ram strains, it is considerably more adaptable to everyday aquarium conditions than wild-type fish.

The Platinum Ram brings the same lively, inquisitive personality as other ram cichlids, patrolling the lower and mid levels of the tank and pairing off readily when settled. Its pale colouration stands out beautifully against a planted, dark-substrate aquascape.
