The Pristella Tetra shows off a near see-through body that lets it blend softly into the mid-water, contrasted by fins tipped in bold black and yellow that flick into view as it swims. The effect is a subtle, elegant fish that still catches the eye in a shoal.

It's one of the most laid-back tetras available, rarely showing any aggression and settling comfortably alongside a wide range of tankmates. This calm temperament combined with genuine hardiness makes it a great choice for a first tetra shoal in a new community tank.
