The Red Copper Hellboy Plakat Betta builds on the classic Hellboy pattern with a metallic copper-red sheen that catches the light differently depending on the angle, set against dark shading across the body. It carries the same short-finned plakat form, keeping the overall shape compact and muscular.

That metallic copper finish comes from selectively bred iridescent pigment layers and tends to intensify as the fish grows and colours in fully. Hardy and easy to keep, it suits a small heated tank kept on its own away from other bettas.
