Red Wagtail Swordtail - Bold Red and Black Contrast, Effortless Care
The Red Wagtail Swordtail pairs a rich red body with contrasting black 'wagtail' fins, a striking two-tone combination that sets it apart from the solid-coloured strains of the species. The dark fin trim, including the trailing sword on mature males, adds definition that really stands out against the bright body.
Like other swordtails, this wagtail strain is an active, easy-going livebearer that spends most of its day exploring the mid and upper water column. It is a prolific breeder and tolerates a wide range of water parameters, making it a forgiving choice for keepers building out a lively community tank.
At N8 Aquatics, our fish are carefully raised and conditioned to ensure healthy stock suited to home aquariums.
