The Super Red Plakat Betta is prized for a deep, uniform crimson body that holds its saturation from gill to tail, a hallmark of carefully line-bred plakat stock. Plakat bettas were originally bred closer to their wild form for fighting stamina, and that heritage still shows in their confident, inquisitive personality today.
